Dark vintage ladies charme for Teatum Jones

Teatum Jones is a London based brand born from Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones.
This SS 2011 collection is their official debut in fashion world.
The first thing I thought when I saw the collection has been "those dresses seem to be realized for some past dark divas".
The drapery is something amazing and so unusual right now.
I like their idea of elegance, so out of time, so timeless.
The silohuette of those dresses remind me a flow of paint on the body and it gives a special light to the fabrics.
I really can't wait to see what those two young genius are gonna create for future seasons.

Those two models are the youthful ones.
The lines are really fresh and the colors so easy to match.
The fabric pattern on the model on the right seems to be created with spatters of paint.

Tranparence is one of the must for a dark elegant look.
The see-through blouse on the left is perfect with the high waisted trousers.

The asymmetric black dress on the right is like a greek peplos painted black.
I like the lenght of the sleeves, it gives a particular touch of grace to the dress.

That dress tells a story.
It tells a story about an obscure lady came from the past to remind us the meaning of neatness.
That dress want to say something like: extreme extravagance is not the only way to impress.

I really wish to Teatum Jones the best things,
I'm really happy when I discover a new brand with so high potentialities.
Rock on guys! :)
